With another Shriek on the way I was starting to loose faith in Dreamworks that they were gonna go down the tubes just as fast as every other production company that makes to many movies until they grow stale. Then I saw How to Train Your Dragon.

The details in this film are what really make it. Its very heart warming and great for kids, plus it has dragons. The message is awesome. Differences in others isn’t a bad thing. What a great message to send to kids these days.

I remember probably about a year ago, I watched a kid on Myspace’s Video of him making Halo armor and guns out of cardboard and I was thought to myself, “Oh my goodness, this kid is only 10 and he’s got so much creative potential.” Then I read the comments. People were telling him he was never gonna loose his virginity and that he was a loser. AT AGE 10!

I remember it being hard for me to grow up a nerd, I can only imagine how hard it is now with communication being so quick and easy. You do one stupid thing at a party and BAM its on Youtube for everyone to witness. One of the reasons I think this movie has so much potential for youngsters. Not to mention the fact that it is a beautiful and cute movie.

Oh god. Seriously. I loved this movie almost as much as I loved Wall-E. For two different reasons, but equally as cute.

When I first moved to the town I live in now, my boyfriend at the time gave me a book to read while I was stuck in the hospital (long story short, I had a blood infection, it sucked) and I totally feel in love with it. Guy in a band falls for a girl on roller skates who delievers pizza. So what does he do, he orders tons of pizza. It just sounds like something one of my geeky friends in a band would do.

And then there was this.

Seriously, how could one geeky chick not be excited about this? Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim. Do you see the wacky fun that this movie will be? I’m so excited!
